Whatever we're reading this month in my book club. Perennial favorites include: The Handmaid's Tale, Brave New World, At Play in the Fields of the Lord, Any Roald Dahl book, any Calvin and Hobbes collections.

Dave, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Goonies, French and Italian flicks, SNL sketches turned feature-length film and I love old classics - especially musicals. Don't pretend you can't sing along to the Sound of Music!

Everything! Our local music is incredibly diverse; there's a very good reason Seattle is known for its live music scene. Great acts, great energy, and great entertainment no matter what your favorite genre! (And I really do go to almost anything!)

I actually do watch the Seattle Channel and CSPAN. Really. On a more entertaining note I enjoy The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Soprano's, Arrested Development, South Park and the Family Guy.

My Grandfather always taught me: "if you see a problem with the way things are going either do something to improve it or stay quiet. And I'm not a quiet person.

Policy needs collaboration; bring stakeholders to the table prior to implementing regulations.
