they come, they go, Saturday thru
Sunday-Monday, Monday thru Sunday
yo.... Maybe I'll luv you one day, maybe
we'll someday grow... till then just sit
your drunk ass on that fuckin' runway
ho! I love Emily! She's the best ho to be
drunk with on a runway! Hands down!
hidden in Osaka. That's where I met
Emily. She'd been training there before
me, quickly rising through the ranks of
Honorable Assassin. I didn't know her
until one day, Sensai Nobatu instructed
the two of us to practice the famed
Ryuken Death Blow. She told me her name
was Emily-san. She added: "Prepare to
die, chump." But in an endearing kind
of way. Sort of. I was scared b/c it
didn't seem that she heard we were
sparring as much as she heard, "Ryuken
Death Blow." We both made fighting
faces and prepared to duel. Except we
started laughing. And then we couldn't
stop laughing. You are not allowed to
laugh in a dojo. After a stern yelling
by the Sensai, to which we only laughed
even harder -- rolling on the ground
with feigned ulcers -- we were
deported. Since then we have been
Ronin. We kept laughing until we became
ninjas b/c there are less rules there.
She is awesome like that.
a testimonial for this becurlied,
bewitching, belovely girl who
befriended me close to a decade ago.
Now that i have a 25 page paper to
write in the next 18 hours, I think
the time is right. Here's the thing,
though: Emily is so damn incredible
it's hard to figure out what to say.
She has the greatest laugh ever, she
is terribly smart and articulate, she
is goddamn beautiful, and she makes a
mean hot dog. She is generous and
kind but is kind of a hard ass too.
And I mean that as a good thing.
Really, I could go on for hours, but
then I'd flunk out of school, and I
don't think she'd want that. Or maybe
she would.
if I could come over to her apartment
to watch a movie... I told her that she
didn't have to be there if she didn't
want to... Well, she thought that was
weird... we don't talk much anymore..
talked to Emily and she had the
greatest advice... she said "I know
that there is pain, but if ya... hold
on for one more day... break free from
the chains." That's the reason I'm
alive today... Thank you Emily and
Carnie Wilson.
extremely pleasant demeanor. I mean,
really extremely pleasant. Like she has
some kind of condition or something
that makes her pleasant to be around,
the way some people are albinos or have
lazy eyes.
meteors hitting the earth, Emily
manages to restore calm.
room for 'divorced' people. We
connected because we had both been
through some 'tough times'. When we
finally decided to meet in 'real life' I
think we were both 'shocked'. Let's
just say we 'both' glossed over our
'faults'. We had a good 'laugh' over
'it' though. We have been 'friends'
ever since but we were only 'together'
the one 'time'. 'needless' 'to' 'say' I
have never looked 'at' 'chat' 'rooms'
for 'divorced' 'people' in the '
inside out.
