About Me:
I am a vivacious introvert, a shy field marshal. I like now
just fine
but sometimes rue that I can't go on vaca to LA in the
1940's or
New Amsterdam in 1625, Current edible passions include
seaweed & sheepsmilk cheese. Perennial ones include maple,
sushi, grilled American cheese sandwiches. I like to wake
up w/
glitter in my hair and wish I had a job naming lipstick
colors. I try
to tread lightly, and occasionally communicate in haiku. I
love
bamboo and have been told that I speak in nonsequiturs.

Who I Want to Meet:
I admire self-confidence and strong opinions and points of
view
that wouldn't occur to me. I like brilliant, quirky men
who talk with
their hands and strong, competent women out of synch with
their
time. People who can laugh at their spelling mistakes
tickle me.
People who know who they are delight me.

intense about everything but still
knows how to relax, which isn't an easy
combination. There is no predicting
her, which is a high compliment in my
book. Plus she has the whole WWII
fixation, which you can't beat with a
stick.
things: She's the first person I turn
to for information on all things
Brady, girlie-girl, on France, cheese
and biking, just for starters. Not
only is she sensitive, funny, well-
traveled and smart as a whip, but also
she is great fun to hang out with and
a loyal friend. Grace inspires me to
try new things, take risks, and enjoy
more chocolate. She just rocks!
interested in many things. I admire
her fierce loyalty to her passions and
friends, as well as her virgoan powers
of organisation and punctuality.
unfold constantly getting more fascinating as
she goes. Smart, endlessly , charmingly,
quirky, and hilarious..... I must admit though,
it has gotten problematic as she has started
"playing the babe card" over the past few years
- trouble trouble trouble! In a tasty curvy
sorta way.....

wicked D, she's an OG keepin' it on the
QT.
Oh, okay, a little less abbreviatedly:
it's been my pleasure to know E for a
little more than a year and a half
now. Her friendly demeanor, combined
with an appealingly sly sense of humor
make for a combination most ideal in
the kinda social goddess that glues us
few, us happy few, us band of ultimate
frisbee brethren into an easygoing but
fun bunch I greatly enjoy spending time
with. Hell, she's so cool I'm even
willing to overlook the fact that she's
a Yankee fan (pssh--rooting for the
Yankees is like rooting for Microsoft).

list of amazing traits goes on, but
isn't writing supposed to "Show, Not
Tell? OK, here's one glimpse: When E.
moved to a new apartment a couple of
months ago, about twenty friends
showed up to help, maybe more. With a
brilliance bordering on obsession, she
had already organized all of her
things to optimally streamline the
process. So the move took very little
time, but it was such a great group
that we hung out talking and laughing
and generally feeling gemutlich for
hours afterwards.
