braces and wore glasses. We've been friends
forever until he graduated law school. Now he's
very busy and important. Nonetheless, I still love
my friend very very much even though he doesn't
call or email me anymore. I hope I run into him at
the Azalea lounge over christmas break. If I can
get there from Japan... Miss you. seriously.

esteem for Ben. He's the kind of guy
who will kiss you scant minutes after
refusing to publish your work, who will
stand beside (and slightly behind) you
when his roommates ask you to leave a
housewarming party, who will convince
his sister to let you crash at her house
because you've managed to get tanked on
her beer, who will fall out of a tree
wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and
immediately bounce up and run off
triumphantly into the night. If I ever

a fine wine. You need to get in there
now and the investment will pay off in
spades in the end. I got in in '91 and
it was a good year.
Really, he's a sweetheart. He's got a
magnetism to his personality that's hard
to resist. He'll be your friend for a
long long time through more than most.
Also, he takes the ping pong very very
seriously. Good luck to those who
challenge him.
He is a charming and witty
conversationalist, a law student
without compare, a big ball of dynamite
in front of a karaoke machine. But he
is not old. At all. Many things. Not
old. Say it with me. "Not old." Very
good. Now go buy Ben some Metamucil.
