About Me:
My first novel, "Looking for Alaska," was published in March by Dutton. It would sure be great if you bought it. My next book comes out next September. And I'm engaged to a girl who wouldn't join friendster if her life depended on it. I think that's about it.

is a "Katib Bare'e". That is Arabic
for "Talented Writer". He is also
my "sadeeq" (friend). Sadly, John is
a "KAFIR", but I still love
him. "YAAAAAAA ALI!"
bubbles and spit yo-yo?
laugh at nothing and everything. He
also used to leave Gatorade bottles
everywhere. And his socks. But that's
beside the point. John's just a really
great guy and I miss him.
with a hammer before I could form long
term memories, and he teased me about
my baby fat. I was not a thin
youngster. Later on he consistently
supported me when I was doing peculiar
things, and told me I was good at
things that I didnt think I was very
good at.
He is a very good brother, even though
he doesnt understand my preoccupation
with the evils of civilization.
he's yet to im his way out. we like
weekends in fancy chicago hotels. we
also like sushi. john is my best friend.

to gather dust, some, not so forgotten.
John Green, not sure I'd be the man I
am today without having met you. And
that's something isn't it? To concede
that the existence of a person is
essential to the existence of yourself.
you, I'd take a bullet for him.
sheltered Bostonian East Coast
princess, that's who. The minute this
Southern Gothic hero hobbled
arthritically into my life, I was reborn.
John brings tragicomedy to a whole
new level. You never know whether to
laugh or cry. (Ask him to tell you the
toaster on the side of the road story.)
This guy eats _Finnegan's Wake_ for
breakfast. Along with a pack of
Nicorette. And I am thoroughly
expecting his YA novel to kick my
ass...as much as a YA novel possibly
can. I have not yet dismissed the
possibility that John Green hung the
moon.
