unfortunatly, due to the fact that i have neither seen nor spoken to our good friend in a number of years i am forced to admit that i have no idea how old he will be turning.
but neverthe less i would like to take this oppertunity to say a few words.
ah-hem...
Zach.........ahh zach. its funny now, looking back at our youth. seeing just how close weve come to being the cause of our own destruction. seeing what terrable folly we have heaped on eachother. how only now in our twilight years, wizend and slow, can we see how stranglely and franticly we have danced.
i think that i have been to neglectful a friend to often in my life. i think that if it wernt for this mans presence in my life at the right time i would not be all of who i am today.and i would like to give my thanks for the day of his birth.
i mean like remember that time we did a bunch of mushrooms and couldent leave the house for two days. fuck man that shit was rightous...way.

about our good ole days riding the rails
in brazil- specifically focusing on zach's
litter of illegitimate children spread willy-
nilly across the country, the month
locked in a fierce struggle to free tanya
from the white slaving goat farmers, and
his somewhat peculiar and most
adamant preference for one legged
hookers as opposed to one armed
hookers. but, according to zach, it
was "accidentally" erased. right. just
like i "accidentally" was pushed into that
nest of fire ants off the coast of Bocas
de Toro and "accidentally" lost an eye.
most of our time together nurturing
our own independent emotional
imbalances, throwing things, breaking
one another's stuff, fighting like
kittens caught in a bear trap, and
viciously competing for the title of
supreme asshole. now, we hang out in
the dark drinking cheap beer and
having bitterly realistic
conversations about the state of our
lives, the world, and humanity in
general. i can't honestly say which is
more fun, but it is nice to be able to
be in the same room for more than 1/2
hour without one of us having to lock
ourselves in the closet. ah me, how
we've aged. he may not belive me, but
i am incredibly glad that he ended up
being one of the few people from
the "back then" of things that still
wanted me to be a part of their life.
now if only he and his pretty would
move to our neck of the woods- then
they could join the "t-n-t" militia
task force and all would, for once, be
complete.
Once complete,(maybe 4 months?) he will
update his friendster photograph to
show the ladies what they've been
missing.
that Zach is even on friendster.
Second let me just say that Zach
visits me about once every couple of
months. This makes me sad. I think
the last time I saw him Haley's Comet
flew over. Third (and this is going
to be flippin cheesy) Zach is one of
my bestest friends even though as soon
as he reads that line he'll "pshhh"
and say "yeah right" but it is true.
Best friends and enemies! mwaaaa
