About Me:
Just moved to New York and Oxford after having lived and studied in Kenya, Canada, New Mexico, California, England, Chicago and Boston. I have a lot of energy and a busy and fulfilling life. I love my job, care about politics, and serve on several non-profit boards. I used to write poetry and have a novel draft from many years ago but haven't been able to find creative time in recent years. I love to travel -- am headed to Tuscany and Hawai'i in the next few months. My favorite places have been Italy, India and Iceland, but I also like to spend time in Chicago, DC, San Francisco, London and just about anywhere else. I enjoy literature, theater, film, hiking, camping. I love to entertain and have been sharpening my cooking skills. I'm an aspiring pastry chef. I enjoy meeting new people, and am genuinely curious about what inspires and motivates them (I guess that comes from my previous life as an anthropologist). I'm gregarious, intense, ambitious, pro-active, loyal and always on the go.
