music, all kinds of music, movies, films, there iz a difference, laughing, hanging out, going out but not as much as I used to, making out, sleeping, cooking, eating wonderful meals and snacking on tacos, digital photography, digital audio creation... a fancy way of saying making beats on my computer, my computer, my guitars, playing and recording my guitars thru my computer (a new fave thing), my sexy fretless bass that i've owned for almost 15 years, bicycling, motorcycling, skateboarding, sushi and sake, tequila and mas tequila por favor, girls, girls and mas tequila por favor, weed and psychedelics but AGAIN... not as much as I used to, new age mumbo jumbo and hippie dippie crap, sex, freedom, peace, unity, love, and havin fun!!

Favorite Movies:
i don't feel like rambling again so i'll just say that my favorite movie from lately is BATMAN BEGINS which is epic even if you'd never had any affection for the comics, the tv show or the other Batman movies. i also lost my shit watching RAY and loved WALK THE LINE which were sort of similar don't you think? FINDING NEVERLAND was beautifully made and the saddest movie ever. i still haven't seen V FOR VENDETTA but i loved THE MATRIX TRILOGY even tho parts of it were weak and soap opera-like. oh yeah.. and STAR WARS - A NEW HOPE still gets it for all time favorite movie. i mean c'mon.. if they didn't call it The Force what would you call it? Quentin Tarantino's work is really fun. i especially liked KILL BILL and it's as if his good friend Robert Rodriguez's EL MARIACHI series was made just for me. SIN CITY was a wonderfully told tale. If i had a genie in a bottle i'd wish for those two to get together with Frank Miller again and for all three of them to do THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS in th

Favorite Music:
all kinds of music, house, techno, trance, breaks, dnb, jungle, glitch, idm, ambient, jazz, country (the old stuff not the new crap) the dead to dead can dance, the doors, jimi and jimmy, guitar gods and classical masters, new age wallpaper and really hard metal, pop stuff too from no doubt, pink, madonna and ll cool j, i just grokked that his name also means too cool james, duh, sometimes i can take my time with something, right?, and... you know how i know i'm really gay? cuz i like coldplay ;-) this list is silly cuz this love affair with music began when i was just a kid listening to the tiny little transistor radio barely loud enough to hear underneath my pillow while i was pretending to sleep so when my mom came in to check on me i wouldn't get in trouble. i'd stay awake as long as i could listening. i got a job working in a record store and sang all day at work along with the new records that came out, i worked at the college radio station, i've been djing at clubs since for-fun

About Me:
jeez. you should ask someone that knows me. but i guess i'll do for starters... i'm straightforward, no bullshit, if i like you, you'll know it, if i don't like something about you i'll tell you what it is that bugs me, i'm big on appreciation and gratitude, i'm so thankful for the life i get to live and that's the truth, i have a million friends, really i have a million friends, i'm not kidding, i exaggerate a bit and over simplify things sometimes but i have a keen grasp of the obvious and a decent sense of reality or humor, you take your pick, i overuse commas and make crazy run on sentences but i think i convey meaning pretty well, i'm not the person to help you move all your stuff from one side of town to the other. i'm more the person you hang out with afterwards and talk with about how difficult it was to get your stuff moved again and how much crap you have. i don't have a lot of crap. the last time i moved, i packed in an evening and then the next day the entire move took me and my friend derrie, who has no idea how much i love him, only two trips and about 2.5 hours. i have a part-time job at a taco stand on main street in santa monica that the locals freakin love and i really enjoy myself there. people always ask if i'm the owner and i say... someday! i dj in the desert at MOONTRIBE sometimes and i book djs and spin at my long-running weekly event also on main street... $2TUESDAYS with rotating resident DJs from MOONTRIBE and guests seamlessly spinnin house breaks techno and trance every week at The Mor, 2941 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405, 310-455-6720 www.themorbar.com, full bar, dinner menu, ... and still just $2 and a big fat tip for the girl at the door ;-)

Corning is a form of curing; it has
nothing to do with corn. The name comes
from Anglo-Saxon times before
refrigeration. In those days, the meat
was dry-cured in coarse "corns" of
salt. Pellets of salt, some the size of
kernels of corn, were rubbed into the
beef to keep it from spoiling and to
preserve it. Today brining -- the use
of salt water -- has replaced the dry
salt cure, but the name "corned beef"
is still used, rather than "brined"
or "pickled" beef. Commonly used spices
that give corned beef its distinctive
flavor are peppercorns and bay leaf. Of
course, these spices may vary
regionally. "
