About Me:
I am mostly interested in looking. Konrad Lorenz, a nobel
laureate and one of the greatest lookers of our time,
describes my outlook
accurately: "The true observer is a rare and dedicated
man.
There is no telling where you will find him or what you
will find him looking at. To him these things are
unimportant aspects of his vocation. The real thing is the
looking itself, the rapt examination of an object or beast
for its own sake. Hours may go by, dinners get cold and
wives cross-but he will go on looking. Years may pass;
somehow or other the confirmed observer will transcend
poverty, illness, wars and other distractions, always
managing to organize his life in such a manner that he may
look on and on."
