tremendous idea. He liked the prevalent moon in
which feelings were sheathed in thoughts, and
thoughts softened into felicity by their transferenc

To know Lance is to know Shangri-La.
visiting Boston where I was living - he
was in NH. But many many emails and
phone calls later and we met up in
NYC. All I could say was "stupid,
stupid, why did you do that???"
After all that we ended up being great
friends and still talk all these years later.
And we haven't aged a bit!

ever watched the man cook?! Mmmmm...
yummy.
conservatives in the 'burbs of GA,
Lance has kept me sane and
intellectually stimulated. When I met
him through work, I knew instantly
that he was brilliant, witty, and a
package of fun. He's become a
wonderful friend, despite the fact
that I envy his Fah-hab-ulous footwear
collection.
and stingy sense of humor and knows
when to use it. Understands you before
you even know he's there. Never
follows fashion..he creates his own.
Good friend, he's there when you're in
need. But don't mess up with him: he
never forgets.
Am I describing a TV-series star???
profile in 2000 and, even though he was
living in NYC at the time, and I am
living in SF, I thought "this is one
guy I have to connect with somehow."
We have met in person exactly one
time... when I visited NYC that
Christmas...and we've stayed in touch
ever since. Brilliant, great sense of
humor, wonderful writer, and a big
heart. Plus, he's an Episcopalian
which just makes him all the more cool,
in my book! This is someone you want
to get to know. I hope we're living in
the same city some day!
