Who I Want to Meet:
Guys who use good grammar, and who have nice teeth and fat wallets - like me. Flaming homosexuals; low-key homosexuals; the rare "hot gay nerd;" crack whores; "drama types;" girls with square glasses and short hair. Jappy Bitches from: Scarsdale, Potomac and Newton. People that shop in organic markets and know what to do with the shit they buy in those stores. People that make me laugh; people that make me think; people that ultimately, I don't have enough time for. People that read for fun, and can suggest good books to me; people that travel the world; people from Stamford or Darien that throw parties for their shih-tzus; people that like Ethiopan food. People that like the 3-2-1 Contact! theme song, and people that like the original version of "Freaky Friday." People that can teach me something, people that I can teach something, people that are afraid of stepping on a stingray or a coneshell in the ocean, or are afraid of being stung by a jellyfish, or by a bee.

Now all these years later, and we haven't changed much. Except that we've both gotten much bitchier. We still hate everyone except ourselves! We have so much in common. We both like soup and snowpeas. Talking and not talking. We could talk or not talk for hours and still find things to....not talk about.
to speak another language, I remember
how Jeremy tried to translate, "I don't
want to be a pain in the ass" into
Spanish, while we were dining at a
Greek restaurant in Sevilla. I've not seen
such consternation on a waitperson's
face since...oh well, I did worse, asking
for the grilled dick instead of chicken.
