The Marquette Golden Eagles Basketball team is the basketball team that represents Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The school's team currently competes in the Big East Conference. The team last played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2008. The Golden Eagles were coached by Tom Crean until April 1, 2008. Buzz Williams was hired to replace him. Marquette maintains rivalries and highly-anticipated games with several other schools, including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Louisville, University of Notre Dame, University of Pittsburgh, and DePaul University.

The Golden Eagles have appeared in 26 NCAA Tournaments. Their combined record is 33-27.
