About Me:
Random Facts About Me:
1. I am a daughter of the King of Kings. I guess that makes me a princess… at least, in the next life.
2. In this life, I serve my family with gladness.
3. Photography is my art.
4. Scrapbooking is my craft.
5. But my daughter is my masterpiece (in the making).
6. I've raised my stepson for at least half his life.
7. I was born in the Philippines, but call West Orange, NJ my home.
8. I speak two languages fluently: Tagalog (w/ an American accent) and English (w/ a Jersey accent, or so I’ve been told).
9. I attended private Christian schools until high school.
10. As a child, I took years of piano lessons. As an adult, I can barely play chords.
11. I can type 105 wpm without looking at the keyboard.
12. I almost always order the salmon or another seafood dish.
13. On my 21st birthday, I got a tattoo from a scary, bearded man in Hollywood.
14. I am a foodie. Good food makes me so happy!
15. I hate clutter… all kinds of clutter… especially noise clutter from the TV in the background.
16. I prefer real buttons on my gadgets so I can operate without looking (refer to #11 above). This touch screen technology does not appeal to me at all.
17. Anyone who knows me well knows I’m a mellow person.
18. Sometimes my sarcasm is unintentionally hurtful, but mostly funny, I hope.
19. I met my husband online! That has lost its shock value over the years.
20. I’ve been all over the country with him on his business trips, with San Francisco and The Bay Area being my favorite domestic destination.
21. I am grateful that my husband enables me to be a stay-at-home mom.
22. I’ve been on a couple of cruises and twice to Disney in my lifetime is one too many already.
23. When my daughter is older, I want to take her on a culinary tour of Europe and Asia.
24. Someday, my children will visit the country of their mother’s origin and know what it means to be a Filipino.
25. I am sooo blessed to have been born to God-loving and God-fearing parents who love me unconditionally and raised their children to not only be siblings but true friends.
26. Last, but not least, I am mindful everyday of the legacy I am leaving my children. Did I choose to love above all?
For my ESS batchmates:
1. I have a trunk full of old letters dating all the way back to grade school (from Pia, Donna, and some others).
2. Instead of going to my piano lesson, one day I treated some classmates to rollerskating instead. (Do you remember coming with me?)
3. I had a huge crush on Benjie (ehem... I mean, Jay) who had a huge crush on my best friend Donna =)
4. My mom would buy and make dresses for me and I, in turn, would give them away to friends.
5. I won an ESS cooking contest with a chicken curry dish garnished with flower-shaped carrot slices.
6. I won an ESS singing contest with the song, Tubig at Langis.
7. An ESS teacher copied my speech for her daughter who competed against me in a declamation contest.
8. As a girl scout, I fried an egg under the hot sun w/ a magnifying glass.
9. I recall having a discussion on training bras in the ESS library w/ some girls. (Were you one of them?)

Who I Want to Meet:
Although I've retired all my social networking sites for Facebook, I maintain this Friendster page for my PI cousins and ESS batchmates.
