I would like to suggest why not impose a special fee(cheaper) for MIRIANS who study at Curtin University. Since we want to support local university in Miri.

I would advise you inform the Police about the problems there. MAke sure the aunty lodge a police report.
On my part, after you have reported to the police, I will follow up with the Police to keep an eye on the area.

It is an issue which is close to our hearts.
A 3rd lane and other junction improvements have been proposed for this area. A by-pass from Kuala Baram to the Airport was also proposed to divert the traffic through an alternative road. The by-pass, if apporoved, is expected to ease the traffic congestion along Pujut Road. We hope the proposals will be included in the federal budget.
Meanwhile, pls understand that traffic jam is normal during peak hours everywhere in the world. Even the world's best planned cities face traffic jam during peak hours. We are grateful that the Pujut Highway has smooth traffic during the off-peak hours. One way to deal with this now is to avoid driving during the peak hours in morning and late afternoon; perhaps leave for work slightly earlier in the morning; & in the late afternoon work overtime, have a drink, do some window shopping or exercise in a park near to work place. Not easy, but must try.
