About Me:
My name is Emelita. Can't pronounce it? Its ok if you call me Emily or Em. I would like to think I'm your average "girl next door"...but I saw that show, and I definitely don't look like those girls (Hugh Hefner would not go for me anyway!). I would like to think I am more than average, but how many women do you know in their early twenties that love to shop, get their nails done, and spend obscene amounts of money at a salon to get their hair done! LOTS OF THEM! So I guess I will not try to impress you with anything spectacular about my life.
I answer phones for a living to pay for the bills. I have aspirations to go back to school and become a web designer, if I ever finish college. If I am not able to do that, I would love to be a stay-at-home mom one day and make my boyfriend do all the working. (Hey, a girl can dream!)
I take on the world with my partner-in-crime aka the significant other of 2-and-a-half years, Nick and his 5-year-old, blonde haired, blue eyed wonder of the world. I love them more than anything, even if the significant other makes me want to throw my cell phone against his cranium once in a while.

Who I Want to Meet:
My "Nanay" In Filipino, it mean's mother, she was my grandmother, but I still miss her everyday of my life. She took care of me when I was younger and instilled some great life lessons that to this day still reflect the person that I am and want to be, and the same values I want to someday instill in my children. She taught me to never take things for granted, even something as odd as food, she never wanted me to waste the food on my plate because there were people in the world starving. She also taught me to respect my elders. So many other things I cannot even list out. I love and miss her.
