Becoming his friend has restored my
faith in humanity. That is no joke. He
was a random meeting through a random
meeting through another random meeting
at a bowling alley under fluorescent
lights and he is still my friend. He is
smart, accepting and giving. He is an
independent old school New Yorker, a
flanuer of sorts, with style and grace.
