my favorite is when it's all stormy and blackest black but the sun is
setting below the clouds and it lites everything up so that it's all brite out even tho the sky is dark. other things i like: dance parties (and/or sleeping) in stranger's livingrooms. cooking for girls. and boys. but especially girls. pink lightning. nite swimming in new england. floating down rivers. with beer. beer. and sometimes it's nice to not drink beer. like maybe instead having a hot cup of english breakfast tea and a little bit of cream. on a porch or something. doing a crossword with a friend. backs of vans. walking. jumping off curbs. stumbling thru foreign countries. cats who sleep on my thigh. the time between two a.m. and sunrise. the smell of the san joaquin. little babies and people who have little babies. abandoned amusement parks. riding old rickity bicycles. polaroids. tummies touching. crudloads of beautiful friends who leave me nice testimonials. made-up words. alliteration. doug's down jacket. also, i believe that what happens on the road shouldn't necessarily stay on the road.
