About Me:
I work as an analyst for an oil and gas company. And I lost count the number of times I got the stick for having the word 'anal' in my designation.

Friday evenings I'll be in Bangi playing futsal with my schoolmates. They are the only people I can compete with anyway.

Weekends I'm either...

1. Playing with The Big Pink, a blues-rock band; or at least that's what we're trying to be.

2. A part-time music journalist for KLBlues.com covering Blues gigs around town. I'm a poor man's William Miller, I am.

3. Watch the greatest football team in the world, Manchester City FC, play. Two things will forever abstain me from turning my back on my dad: 1) Getting me circumcized at 3 days old (Hello ladies...) and 2) Making me a fan of the greatest football club in the world.

Apart from those, I enjoy playing the guitar and constantly feel like giving it up after failing to play a Blues number properly.

I also enjoy writing but since the things I write about are worth jack shit, I can only publish them myself on my blog, Asrif.org.
