Psych Soc AdU

The Adamson University Psychological Society (AUPS) is an academic organization made for the Psychology students of Adamson University to bind them together in the spirit of mutual respect, trust, and assistance.


BACKGROUND

The faculty and respective students of Psychology at Adamson University founded Adamson University Psychological Society (AUPS). The membership is exclusive only for a bonafide Adamsonian Psychology student, who shall subscribe to the purposes and objectives of the organization. Each member has the right to perform on the matter concerning the organization. They must support, promote and participate in the activities that the organization may be involved in.

Adamson University Psychological Society (AUPS) is governed by the Executive Council consisting of seventeen (18) members who are duly elected officers of the organization. Several committees composing of appointed members assist them. These sets of officers shall serve for a term of 1 school year. Each of them must possess a good moral character and must be responsible enough to do their obligations to the organization.


VISION

We, the Adamson University Psychological Society (AUPS), envision ourselves as the living witness of God's love, justice and peace, inspired by the ways and teachings of St. Vincent de Paul, and engaged in Vincentian ideals.


MISSION

The Adamson University Psychological Society (AUPS) commits to:
1. Comply with rules and regulations of Adamson University.
2. Promote and encourage understanding among its members on the principles and practices of Psychology.
3. Provide opportunities to serve as training grounds for leadership.
4. Be an active body in matters involving socio-civic actions.
