About Me:
Nothing I enjoy more than writing about myself, don't you feel the same way? Its never fun to write your own bio, eulogy, resume, ect..
I was born in New Mexico, my parents are still together, they are very liberal, fun, well dress and generally the parents every gay son would want. My mom's side of the family has been in NM for just about 400 years. She is a real estate agent, stunningly beautiful, with impeccable taste for food, wine and dress. My father is a lawyer and a recovered alcoholic, he still mentors new A.A. members. He's also my best friend. I have two siblings, a younger sister and a younger brother. My sister is a student at the University of Arizona and my brother is a very cool pot smoking snow boarder in Colorado. He rarely holds a job - or a cell phone number for long - but he creates beautiful art.
I moved here to Washington, DC in 1998 to attend George Mason University. I found this small state school on a college scouting trip with my mom in high school.
I had decided I wanted to move to Washington, DC when I was in the sixth grade after visiting on a student trip. I fell in love with the way Washington looks like from across the Potomac on the George Washington Parkway. The way the light catches the reflection on the river and shimmers off the bright marble of the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial.
In 2003, a year after leaving GMU I started my first real, post-college job at a lobbying and consulting firm. It was a terrific job that had me traveling across the country, working too many hours but doing really interesting work for progressive causes. My boss was an old union guy and taught me a lot in that year and half. In 2004, after bumping into Babak at the Fleet Center during the Democratic National Convention I decided to take a job at his firm, I was his loyal assistant until reccently deciding to take a risk and move to Manhattan. I now call this small island home, time for a new adventure!

1. At any time, there is always a bag of potato chips within a 10 foot radius of his person. Sometimes the potato chips are subsituted by a recent law school graduate.
2. As many times as I tell him that it will give passers-by a headache, he insists on wearing a shirt with stripes going one way and a tie with stripes going in the opposite diagonal. I think this is his way of taunting me and the general public.
Once those two things are understood, you will then be free to enjoy all of the wittiness, passion, and intelligence little Benji can offer. Just keep him away from waterfalls and out of his skivvies.
you? Boys watch out for this one. Not
only is he cute, he's a charmer. Beware
of his seduction. I've seen him work it.
