A wandering goofball who gets paid to make up stuff, invent
stuff, write stuff, photograph stuff, fix stuff, and
sometimes break stuff. I like making things go BOOM! (No
boom today...maybe boom tomorrow.) I usually don't have to
go looking for adventure--it finds me. ("What, I wasn't
supposed to be here?") I'm a cajun who grew up mostly in
Europe and Brooklyn--I understand being different, have no
clue on being normal. I like reading, working out
(particularly through martial arts), partying, music,
dancing, travel, long interesting conversations (often over
coffee or drinks), meeting all kinds of people, exploring
new cultures and countries, new ideas, inventing/tinkering,
raising hairless house apes (they seem to be a cross
between howlers and spider monkeys, only not as
coordinated), and spending time with friends. I'm damn
lucky in that I get paid to do most of my hobbies. I had a partner in crime to share it all with, but now I'm on my own.

New note: I'm back from Iraq. New company, new life, new year... game on!

(US people) THOSE WHO DON'T SEE ALL IN BLUE/RED. THE PARTISAN BULLSHIT HAS TO STOP AND WE HAVE TO START TALKING OR WE'LL END UP RATCHETING UP THE RANCOR UNTIL THE ELECTED OFFICIALS END UP CARRYING OUT THAT RANCOR. I've lived overseas, I've seen the jails and graves, and I know what tyranny looks like. Dividing the country and feeding hate is one of the best ways to make this happen.

Who I like: Fun, strong, adventurous, intelligent, interesting, strong
sense of humor, capable, open minded. People who don't take themselves too seriously. I don't have to agree with someone to respect them, or be like them to like them. I can deal with a lot of things, but not hate, jealousy, stupidity, or people who can't see past the horizon.
