Yeah, I'm opinionated, but not an asshole... I'm politically active, and love a good political discussion with someone on either side of the fence, but assume that I'm totally liberal and you'll probably find that I'm more than happy to be a devil's advocate, so don't think you can just blindly agree with what I say, not backing it up, and I'll let it slide.

I'm honest, open and trusting until given reason to feel otherwise. I have a pretty demanding job and I don't have a ton of free time, so I like to make the most of what I've got. Things that I like: outdoors and pretty much any physical activity (hey, I grew up in the Northwest, what can I say?). Working out, hiking, mountain biking, random-ass spontaneous adventures. I also like river rafting, river-boarding (hit me up if you know what that is), skiing and snowboarding.

I'm anti-war, anti-murder, anti-Bush. He's done more damage to this country than any other president during my lifetime. It's disgraceful and embarrassing. I'm happy to talk to anyone about it if you don't understand why someone would feel this way.

Above all, people with HONESTY, MATURITY, SINCERITY. I like people who are open about their feelings and share their past and experiences. If you don't have a sense of humor then I will probably offend you. People who open themselves to their friends, and who has pride in taking care of him/herself will hold my attention more than someone who doesn't. I have, and tend to make, life-long friends, and I know what it takes to keep them regardless of where we may be in life, or in the world. Some of my best friends I've known forever currently live overseas. That doesnt mean that Im not open to making new friends.
