Band Biography:
Cursed Loath is a Death Metal band formed in University of Cebu. They are regarded as one of the youngest band in the Cebu Extreme Music Production (CEMP) an Underground Metal Scene in Cebu City. Cursed Loath band carrer had been on and off at first due to Lack of practice and no band vocalist. In mid-year 2007 the band find John Gabriel Valenzona (aka Evil) as there vocalist and Abel (aka Kreator) as the 2nd string.
The band first appear on CEMP's gig "Enslaving The Masses" @ the boss grill last January 2008. After a few months due to his OJT Abel had left the band in order to focus in his work. Later then they hire Geff Mark Arellano (aka ikmack) to became the 2nd string.
Up to now the band is still standing and reigning to perform. We are currently making our own composition and record it very soon.
Inspired by groups such as Dying Fetus, Slayer, Decapitated, Krisiun, and Behemoth, Cursed Loath was founded in 2007 by guitarist Edmund Aguanta (aka Edmetal), bass guitarist John Paul Brioso (aka Vermin) , and drummer Kyndall Dane Cesar (aka Sanctus). The band name is taken from the Dying Fetus song, from the lyrics of "Purifacation Through Violence".
