      • One time I saw this dude in an alley get sliced when some other guy flicked a playing card at his face. It was true ninja style. I have only met three people in my life with such true 'ninja style', and one of those people is Dan.

        Now that Dan is a card shark, he has adapted the title of playing card assissin, specializing in all brands of playing cards, such as Bee, Bicycle, GEMACO, Tally-Ho, Aviator, Steamboat, Squeezers, Mohawk, Paulson, Torpedo, Arrco,and the most dangerous of all: Hoyle.

        I wouldn't cross this fella on a bad day if you paid me. With a flick of his wrist, you may just lose your life.

        On a good day though... he is as sweet as pie.

      • dan has encouraged me as an artist in many, many ways. he has also visited me in the hospital, called me when i was sick to cheer me up, let me crash on his couch when i was tired, bought me numerous drinks and meals. He has let me play with his dog, given me his recliner, let me use his color printer after not having kept in touch for many months. he has let me borrow his spanish dictionary, introduced me to king-cat and sports night. and over the past couple of years of knowing each other has been a part of my growth as a person. ummm... that's my testimonial for dan. he deserves the best.

      • so i saw dan at one of his shows a
        couple of years ago... i thought he was
        absolutely adorable and hilarious. i then
        checked out his website and added his
        name to my buddy list. now the years
        have passed, hes a very decent friend
        with great advice and i can honestly say
        life wouldnt be the same without him. if
        it werent for dan, i might not have
        moved out on my own!
        and he let me know chuck palahniuk
        was in town last tuesday even though he
        hates him. im thinking i would still be
        reading red eye instead of the reader...

        mean cute, and I do mean bra. Not so much with the funny, though, but
        the cute makes up for it.

      • The first thing I think of when I
        think of Dan is Jimmy Pardo making fun
        of his ears. The second thing is when
        a girl came up on stage to kiss him
        mid show. So you win some, you lose
        some. Dan is a very smart comic - and
        someone who I expect tons of good
        things from. (You should, too.)
