About Me:
SQUAR3.COM
FE
127 BPM turns it out. I from Kansas. I run a party. I
publicize music. I watch baseball. We're running out of
time. All the time. Big ups to KJHK. Big ups to Greek
Techno. My better 3/5th works for Emerson College, where I
almost went to school to be an actor. An actor! I do have a
screenplay, though, and it's good. I like to watch TV to
feel connected to the public at large. I like to go out and
be with said public. I like the public, in general. They
are finicky. I want to start a magazine and call it
Sfumato. I hope to move back to South Dakota when I get
old. And paint. On the porch. I also love Lawrence
and encourage anyone to go there: Love Garden, Free State,
Replay. People of the world: take off your watch; throw out
your cellphone; shut up and drive.

dance.
Every moment with Dave is a great
moment. There's the time he tripped
over a cord while we were in front of
the Student Senate for funding for our
literary magazine. I could only think,
how ironic that the coolest, most
visionary, most talented person on the
staff was also the goofiest. Or the
time we went used record shopping in
Cambridge, ending up at the Mothership,
aka Other Music, and he introduced me
to David Axelrod and about fifty other
artists... or the time we went to the
Mets game courtesy of The Man and I got
to meet Amy for the second time... or
the time David and I were hanging out
at the Replay and he had just gotten
back from a music convention where he
met Mike D and David said that every
time they said "A'ight," he thought of
me. But of course, nothing tops the
time three years ago when Dave went to
Brookside to let the movers in at my
friend's storage space -- let's just
say, what was supposed to be a quick
favor turned into an all-day ordeal for
which I will be indebted to David for
many years to come. HE'S THE BEST!
once saved one of my best friends from
plummeting to his death atop the
Eldridge Hotel. He's No Joke! He'll
keep your feet movin on the dance floor,
or astound you with great political
insight. For Real...

surprising sunrises. you're just
minding your own business and then you
hear some damn good music and you're
like, holy crap. and dave was nice
enough to ask me to DJ for the first
time, and now i'm hooked. hell... he's
just a damn good person.
