Hindi naman pos a pagmamayabang, kaya ko pong kumanta, sumayaw, at umarte kaya bagay talaga ako sa Tanghalan, hehehe… Tagapagbalita (daw) din po ako sa Kapisanan sa Filipino, ito po yung club sa Filipino dito sa Letran – Calamba. Vice President po ako ng Peer Facilitator at Peer Mentor, actually, President po ako sa buong Laguna… Pinakalatest po ngayon ang Boy Scout!

Hello everybody! My name is EJ (shortened version) Sumatra. I have a lot of nicknames. My childhood friends call me Winok (Ayan ha? Ibinulgar ko na!) but here in Luzon, I have different nicknames. My relatives told me that Winok is a character from a radio drama in 90s. Well, as what as I’ve said, I have a lot of nicknames. When I was on elementary (at Agusan del Sur Pilot Lab. School), they used to call me Emmanuel. Some students their (especially my classmates from St. Anne Progressive School) still call me Winok. At Paciano Rizal Elementary School (Calamba, Laguna), where I finished my elementary course, they still call me Emmanuel. But one thing I can’t forget is when they gave me new nicknames – Emman and Ella. So hilarious right?! Well I don’t know why our former adviser gave me that name. When I was on Colegio de San Juan de Letran, where I currently study, my 1st year adviser and now my Godmother, Ms. Glenda Agno accidentally gave me the name Joseph. It was because I have another classmate whose nickname is same as mine. He is Emmanuel Bathan (known as EM). Well, it doesn’t stop here. My GenSci teacher, Ms. Edelnimfa Gener, gave me the name Princess and my Elem. Algebra teacher (Ma’am Madjel) added it with Papa so she called me Papa Princess. Still, my classmates and schoolmates call me Joseph. It was on 2nd year when I created my new nickname, and that was Lavinia (since Princess Sarah was aired that time on TV and Lavinia was her rival). My nickname Lavinia didn’t last for long. Right now, not just classmates or teachers call me this name, but the whole campus is now calling me Dyosa (Godess). I based it on the fantaserye Dyosa. Well, even people whom I didn’t know call me Dyosa. For me, it is an honor to be called Dyosa. I am very happy because even if Dyosa had its final episode last January, people around me are still calling me Dyosa . Even my new friends call me Dyosa! I am so grateful because my new set of friends discovered that my nickname is Dyosa! (I am refering to the current 1st yr HS students of our Colegio.)
Mmm… I think its too much and I have a lot of things to say. I was born on February 02, 1993 under the sign of Aquarius. I was born in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur (my hometown). I am a Roman Catholic. I live in Calamba City, Laguna. My cellphone number is 09153646571 while my e-mail address is ejsumatra@hotmail.com. Our former school paper adviser (Ma'am Nicolas) said that I am a versatile writer. I can write in English, Filipino (Tagalog) and of course Bisaya.I enjoy singing while I am taking a bath (yes, that’s true!). They say that I am a good dancer (and I believe that's true, hahaha). I also love texting. I can do texting habits 24 hrs a day! Imagine? I have a lot of plans for my future. I want to be a writer someday, a teacher, a celebrity or a broadcast journalist. In fact, I already listed my future courses to be taken and it includes: AB Economics, BSEd major in Social Studies, Mass / Development Communication, Political Science, and International Studies. I believe in saying, “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.”
Now, lets go to my favorites. My favorite teacher is Bb. Dee and my favorite subject is the subject she teaches, Social Studies. I like her because she inspires me a lot in writing Tula and the way she teaches also, because I also want to be a teacher someday. I love her teaching techniques though it is very difficult to follow. I also love her because of her tula (poems) and I knew she wrote it from her heart, especially, “Para sa Lahat ng Nagmamahal at Napapagod ng Umibig.” My all time favorite book is Campus Journalism by Ceciliano-Jose Cruz. I also call myself a Narnian because I already read the seven books of The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I cannot forget these books because these books made my cry. I also used the first book of Narnia (The Magician’s Nephew) in my oral defense in English. Watching TV is one of my hobbies and 99% of the TV shows I watched is from ABS-CBN. For short, I am a certified Kapamilya. My favorite celebrities here on the Philippines are Toni Gonzaga, Anne Curtis, Richard Gutierrez, and Ms. Kris Aquino. My favorite movies are Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior led by Brenda Song (my favorite Disney celebtity), the two movies of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe and Prince Caspian, and last is the horror film Ghost Ship. On local movie, my favorites are Exodus and One More Chance. Actually, I just wathced it (One More Chance) last December 2008, 1 year after it was shown on cinema. This movie really touched my heart because the theme of the movie is very related to my love life. My favorite songs are love songs, especially when the message is all about being broken or being hurt. These includes (from Kyla) Open Arms, I Don’t Want You to Go, and Sana’y Maulit Muli; (from Nina) Even Now and If I Should Love Again; (from MYMP) Only Reminds Me of You, and Baby Now That I Found You; and (from Lemar) What About Love. I do not have a favorite restaurant (except Mang Inasal), fast food maybe, from Jollibee and Chowking to Pizza Hut and KFC. Well, speaking of foods, I love eating sweet foods and desserts. When I have hang-outs, I feel comfortable when I wear semi-formal attire, from rubber shoes to polo-shirt. When I am with my friends, we always play Crazy Kart (an online game). To tell you honestly, I am very frustrated to learn playing DOTA. I have a lot of tutors since 1st yr but I really can't understand the concept, hahaha, I just love the graphics. My favorite anime is Inu Yasha and Inu Yasha is my hero (favorite anime character) also. My sports are Badminton and Volleyball. I easily get attracted to things shaded with light colors especially Sky Blue and Mint Green, Pink is also accepted. I play with our dogs and kittens from our neighbor. I easily get mesmerized when I smell the scent of Bench Atlantis. Well, I would like to take this opportuniy to give thanks to Claudine Bernadette for giving me my first Bench Atlantis perfume. Most of my rubber shoes are from Accel and my T-shirts are Crimson.
I know you are happy knowing more about me. Now, let’s get intimate. Physically, I stand 5’3" and I weigh 99lbs. My complexion is Tan and I can say that I have a Filipino skin. I am Moreno and I really have the Asian look since people around me are asking if I am a Bombay. My hair is black, as well as my eyes. I am a medium-built teenager and my waistline is around 30 (oh?). Mmm… people say that at first, I’m snob and suplado. I always look busy especially when I walk fast along our corridor. Well, the reason behind that is, I don’t talk too much to people whom I didn’t know. I just gave a simple smile and go. But the greatest reason is, I don’t want to be judged (by the strangers) of what is the real me by hearing me talk the way I talk in our classroom (Alam niyo na ibig sabihin nun, hahaha ). I know that I’m so loquacious (madaldal) in our room and to my close friends. I am an open-minded person. If you are with me, we'll have a good conversation since we can talk about studies, love life, personal problems, family problems, etc. and of course, sex! I admit that I am ma-L (you know, hahaha) but I am not a faggot person (malandi, pokpok, langaw(?)). I always give the topic for our discussions if I realize that they are not interested on the first topic. They say that I am straightforward. I always jump to the point and I don’t want things to be more complicated. They say that I am a good leader since I can always control the crowd. I entertain people by making them laugh until they found their stomach aching, hahaha. Super-friendly po talaga ako. I protect my friends and I can fight for them. Pinipigilan ko rin ang sarili ko minsan na huwag magalit. I have a lot of textmates in our campus, but then, I didn’t talk to them when we see each other in school. For short, I am snob at first, but if you’ll know me better, promise, I’ll be loyal to you if you are loyal to me too.
My life is not perfect. I also have my attitude problems. Lately, I discovered that I always want to seek attention by being too childish. Honestly, I’m not yet ready to mature and enter the world of adolescence. In our school, people can still see me wearing unusual costumes and wig. Gusto ko kasi yung binibaby ako eh… Tsaka pagmalumanay yung boses ng kausap ko. Gusto ko yung nilalambing ako. Ayaw ko rin naman ng OA na napilitan lang mag-adjust for me kasi halata naman eh. All I want is natural. I want to be followed always (na alam naman natin na hindi tama). Sometimes, I cannot control myself to the point na maririnig niyo nalang akong humahalakhak during exam. Mababaw lang kasi kaligayan ko eh… I confess that I have a plastic attitude also (I know my classmates knew about this) especially if confirmed na confirmed na plastic din yung kausap ko. I believe that I use other people for my personal intentions (Lord, patawarin Mo po ako). As what as I’ve said, I’m frank so sometimes, I gave jokes that are offensive for other people (For me naman kasi, joke lang yun eh). I am a gossip-finder (nag-imbento ako ng salita, hahaha ) and I always want to know what’s happening around our campus even if I am not concerned. I can also say that I am a denial queen. Maypagkapa-VIP din ako sometimes. Mmm… in our meetings, expect that I am late from 30 mins - 1 hour. I easily get annoyed when I cannot explain my side. I always give reasons. Well, I hope these things won’t let me down. I’ll do my best to change these attitudes.
Of course, may kahinaan din ako noh?! Well, for the first time, I’ll confess this on public. This is really is it! I easily get fall in love. Even if I haven’t seen that person pa then he’ll send me messages like, “Kumain ka na po?” “Ingat po palagi.” “Pakabusog ka po.” and many more, naku po, mababaliw na ako niyan sa kakaisip ng taong yun. Then, in a short time of getting to know each other, I’ll say to that person directly, “Ui, crush kita.” then that person will say, “sorry, friends lang tayo.” Then I’ll get depressed. Mag-i-emo for a couple days, then ayun! iingay ulit sa room. Napapansin ko kasi sa sarili ko na mabilis akong magtake-advantage sa mga texts nila at binibigyan ko yun ng ibang meaning kaya ayun, nagfefeeling-feelingan ako, hahahaha, asa!
I prefer people who are open-minded like me. The kind of people that deserves to be one of my friends. A little bit smart and talkative is an advantage. Updated in current affairs and has an environmental concern also.
I really don’t like people who are maarte because I cannot go with them talaga and I think mag-aaway lang kami. I hate too sensitive people and pa-virgin effect na kala mo ay inosente. I don’t like back-stabber of course.
If you ask me to define love, well, for me, love is jealousy. Why? I myself don’t have a clear answer. I just based it on my experiences. Mmm… I can say that my feelings towards another person is crush if I get attracted, but, if feel something unexplainable, and I get hurt na, well, I can say that I am in love already. Experiences are based from my past love ones and crushes so obviously, I have an experienced already of being in love.
My 1st year high school life was my happiest moment. In those days, I learned a lot of things which became foundations of what I am today. I experienced the feeling of being in love, and being love. There were no betrayals when we were on 1st year. It seems that we are just one family. We are very happy inside our room. I really miss those moments because I never experienced it again, until today. It was the time when I met my first love. It seems that, I am already complete. I believe that he loved me also. We have the same feelings that time (believe it or not). But we are not committed. It happened for six months. Unfortunately, it was just panandaliang-aliw pala. I think he is happy with his life now. Right now, I really miss him. I want to be with him again. I want to be whole again. I would not go furhter because its too personal. On the other hand, I guess I have a lot of embarrassing moments but I think I don’t need to say those things.
My unforgettable date is Nov. 17, 2006. Our school had a party called Fashion Freedom Night. On this day, I cried from 8:30pm-10:00pm. The reason was personal. Well, its all about love.
I easily get attracted to the people who has a good physical look. Neat on his body. Last October 2008, I discovered that I like people whose legs are smooth. Tsaka yung hindi mabalahibo. Of course, gusto ko yung super bango at hindi oily ang mukha.
Well, I guess I already revealed 92% of my personality. Hope you’ll like it.
