Today, with the dance company as the core company we develop also the productions company to run the productions, managements and services of our:
Dance Company : EKI Dance Company has been continuing the tradition of quality performance with various dance-basis shows, such as musical, cabaret, dance-theater, operetta, etc. as the most productive arts company in the country.
Artist Management : In the Artist Management we can find Indonesian well-known artists such as Sujiwo Tejo (actor, singer, composer, puppet master, author)
Arts Training and Workshops : We spread our knowledge to others with various workshops material using arts to be implemented in daily life for practical results.
Books and Literature Publishing : EKIs books are always easy to read reading material with a distinctive style.
Record Labeling : Since or first record productions, Sujiwo Tejos Pada Suatu Ketika (Once upon a Time), we have been producing his second album Pada Sebuah Ranjang, Syaharanis Magma, and Original Soundtrack from EKI Dance Companys Musical, titled Gallery of Kisses
But, lets find out more about us, what was the company like several years ago, and what has been generating us to keep searching and developing until today.
Brief History :
It all started in 1996 when Aiko Senosoenoto and Rusdy Rukmarata founded Eksotika Karmawibhangga Indonesia or EKI (Dance Company) for short.
They were touched by the growing-social-phenomena of youngsters who self-destruct their future with their common problems, such as drugs, free sex, broken-home victims, vandalism, and identity crisis.
Aiko and Rusdy took the risk by bringing those people to their home. Since Rusdy is a choreographer, he started teaching the youngsters very basic body movements, later-on in 1998 came Sujiwo Tejo to join EKI Dance Company, he added the drama and vocal training.
