Faith Baptist Assembly when pioneered by Pastors Larry Tan and Jeffrey Ilagan and Sis. Carina Perez (now Ungson) in 2000 at Baguio City, was Endtimes Baptist Mission in Ambiong, La Trinidad, Benguet. On November 8, 2002, we moved to the present address at Blk. 5, Lot 31 Eagle Crest Villa, Bakakeng. At first the growth was quite slow, we were just housing our mission work inside our house, attendance was erratic until the Bicol attendees came and we reached like over 50 attendance every Sunday. We opted to move the church outside under a tent. In April, 2004 Pastor Jeffrey went to USA to work as a missionary at the Dream Center, Los Angeles for one year and Pastor Larry Tan went to Laguna Niguel, CA to join his wife on May, 2004 (just the following month Jeff left). Pastor Jordan Perez took over but Sis. Carina stayed and Sis. Bethany Perez (now Pastor Jeff's wife) joined hands together to continue the mission work though it was already registered at SEC on June, 2002. The lot that we bought was a deception (but we are still praying for our money recovery), so we decided to build the church sanctuary building at the back of Pastor Larry and Sis. On June 26, 2007 we opened our Gate of Wisdom Academy, a branch of our GWA in Morong which was already like 17 years in operation in Rizal. Teachers are sacrificially offering their services just to realize their goal of reaching out to underprivileged kids in our community who deserve a good curriculum that Pastor Larry Tan learned from USA in his doctorate degree. Then on July 3, we opened our totally tuition-free Bible College to the out-of-school youths and it was completely a step of faith though the one who promised to help Pastor Larry (a Filipino friend in Arizona, USA) financially did not keep his promise. The plans of opening these schools still pushed through with the thought that only God is our partner who will truly provide, so BY FAITH our schools continue to bless our church and our community! If you happen to visit Baguio City, you might as well drop by and see how the Lord Jesus Christ blessed the work here. On August 2007, our filmmaking ministry began with "Sampal".
