DOA BEFORE STUDYING : "Allaah umma infa'nii bimaa 'allamtanii wa'allimnii maa yanfa'unii." O my Lord, make useful for me what you hath thought me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me.
DOA AFTER STUDYING : Allah! Assist me to remember it, and teach me whatever I am ignorant of it. O Allah! I entrust You with what I have read and I have studied. (O Allah!) Bring it back to me when I am in need of it.
DOA FOR BENEFICIALKNOWLEDGE : "Allahu Akbar.. Ya ‘Alimu, Ya Hakim, ‘alimna ma yanfa’una wa zidna ‘ilman!" Allahu Akbar..Oh Knowing One, Oh Wise One, teach us what is beneficial for us and increase our knowledge always!
"Qul rabbi zidne illma" Say: O Lord! Increase my knowledge.
"Qaddarallaahu wa ma shaa' fa'al" Allaah ordained (this) and He does what He wills.
