      • Das Gergen! Ah, those crazy days at UR, spending endless hours in the hell-hole of Carlson... but Gerd made it fun. He used to stop by my dorm room and wake me up (or attempt in vain) for the biochem classes. Sometimes I almost miss those days -- okay, I don't miss those days.

        He's smart, hard-working, funny, witty, and lately very muscular. Add a doctoral degree on top of that, and he's going to be quite a catch! Yes, I'm lucky to have him as a friend.

        I shall get out of Jersey more often and see you in your full laboratory glory, das Gergen.

      • Take me back to my GLBT days at UR,
        when I used to stalk this hottie around
        campus... but alas.. I just couldn't
        make the cut!! LOL. Though we never
        became exceptionally close, being the
        good judge of character that I am, I'm
        certain that Gerd deserves all the good
        things that life seems to be bringing
        his way. And I hope that he invites me
        to visit him so that I have a free
        place to stay in NY real soon!! LOL.

        more. Gerd is my favorite after work
        Japanese-food happy hour date. Oh,
        and by the way, he also happens to be
        a brillant scientific researcher.

      • Don't judge him on his D&D habit (yeah,
        we all know it's a little weird) and
        yes, he's quite the sci-fi junky. But
        who isn't a little turned on by someone
        that spends all that time in
        the "Dungeon". But he's more than
        this...he's incredibly smart and a
        wicked dancer. A great cook and a
        witty lyricist. And let's not forget
        his sexy biceps;)

        like sarcasm. He watched the final
        Buffy instead of the final American
        Idol, but that's okay because he taped
        AI. He likes Christopher Guest, which
        is a testament to his appreciation for
        sharp wit.
