        Two years ago....,

I'v came to this place called Churchill and the first person i'v met was a Canadian,...i was a bit shocked cause i was in the middle of nowhere, there a small town yet you less likely to see people walking around and cars were hardly on the road,...you be staying nearby a Coal powerplant, who knows what kinda cancer u could get...15 mins drive from the nearest town called Morwell... i'm only left with a market named "food works" ,a couple of Fish and Chips shops, a Pizza place called Glen Donalds and there i was going through almost 3 semesters of Uni...irroniclly, it turned to be one of the greatest days and experience of my life...more then two years later,Today, much ways could i describe it, yet i felt others before me had done better...

      • What a great place to stay and study..
Never thought that I will be there, time there was like a dream.
I really enjoy the cool, serene environment.
        Miss the green country life.
Miss traveling to Mowell and Melbourne, and all those grocery shopping done.

      • Currently in final year of my PhD at
        Monash Caulfield...spent 1999-2000
(BBUS) and 2000-2001 (BBUS hons) at
        Monash Gippsland (aka Moo Moo
        Land)...not staying in South/West
units but instead over at Sheoke Grove
(where the Mobile station is). The
best memories go way back then, the
        tranquility of country Victoria,
setting up a golf driving range in my
        own backyeard??? The perfect
        environment
        for...ermmm...RETIREMENT????!!!???
But c'mon, lets face it. It's a great
place to do a degree, meet friends,
and have fun (to a certain extent).
Might have stayed on in Gippsland to
do my PhD if I could find a suitable
        supervisor. I'll always remember
        those days...lovely ol Gippyland...

Sys) + Honours + 1 year of bumming.
Ultimate bum place. Had heaps of fun
with my little red 'beng' devil. Well-
fed with all the take-outs around.
        P&Js, Macers, etc. Leeching and
        fragging sessions with Gippsfrag.
Boozing at house parties, the chill bar
        and saloon.

Great memories and of cos nightmares.

        No regrets.
