HGPinoy was established last February 2, 2007 by HGDaemon and kiko.EXE. The idea started within the TipidPC DS Owner's thread. They recognized some member's frustrations with regard to the issue of backtracking. Since that thread was already reaching 120+ pages, some members were having a hard time going back through the previous discussions.

Thus, the idea of creating a forums whose initial agenda was to replace the said thread was born. Together with HGDaemon, the site's been implemented by using Invision PowerBoard, a free site provider.

The main vision and mission of the people who created this site is simple:

Create a site where all pinoys who have the common interest in gaming, can freely discuss almost anything that relates to the videogame industry. May it be the latest console and handheld news, upcoming games, and even flashcart and firmware compatibilities.

HGPinoy also caters non gaming discussions. Gadgets, PC Problems and even Love Issues. We here at HGPinoy got it covered. We also have entertainment sections like the video and music streaming sections.

We have also implemented a rewards system wherein a member can earn "Belis" by just posting a very useful topic or just participating in our discussions. These "Belis" can be used to purchase user enhancement items in our store and who knows what else?
