About Me:
The year was 2001 when iNNAi, then called Paddington Bags, started-off as making handbags. Our handbags were made of natural cloth, and they were called Paddington bags, naturally. Paddington Bags inspiration derived from flea markets in Sydney, Australia which was our second home then. The flea market concept then slowly took-off in Malaysia that led us into selling our handmade bags at Mont Kiara flea markets and Bangsar bazaars.
Later in 2004, Aishah Saleh, grew fond of batik and foresaw the future of batik. Hence, she decided to take the business to a different level. Due to the increasing promotion of Malaysian batik by Allahyarhamah Datin Seri Endon Mahmood, Aishah decided to join the bandwagon. She decided to create her own batik designs, a more contemporary yet versatile batik and managed to influence her daughters; Aida and Izrin into seeing her version and plans for the business. Besides her two daughters, Aishah's nieces and daughter-in-law came to lend iNNAi their support and be in the team to make iNNAi move forward.iNNAi has now turned into a family business. This was how iNNAi was born, and the past is what we say, history.
When iNNAi first embarked on its business, our focus was to come out with contemporary designs showcasing the vibrant, unique and beautiful colours of batik. With our aim to promote batik for everyday life, iNNAi showcases batik designs which marry contemporary designs with traditional methods of canting.
iNNAi made its debut by participating in booth promotions mostly at Bangsar Shopping Centre, Great Eastern Mall and Lot 10. In duration of one year, iNNAis client base grew profoundly from mere regular customers, celebrities, corporate clients to dignitaries. And in early 2006, iNNAi opened its very own boutique in Centrepoint. iNNAi grew eversince and opened its second branch at Great Eastern Mall, Ampang in early 2007.

Who I Want to Meet:
With the second shop in place, iNNAi hopes to embark doing iNNAi Homes, producing home decorations and furnishings using modern batik designs.
iNNAi believes that batik has a very special place in the world of textile. No other cloth in the whole world contains so much symbolism and so much meaning. In the philosophy of its colours and designs, and in the way it is made, folded and worn, batik expresses the spirit of the people who make it and wear it and who treasure it as part of their heritage.
Today, batik is not only used as a fabric per se, but also as a part of a dress and home decorations. iNNAi continues to offer fashionable designs for confident, iconic people who values style. With our escalating schedules, iNNAi answers the demand for clothes that can take you from work to play to formal events by offering current trends mixed with classic traditional styles.
Teamwork between Aishah, her two daughters and nieces, is the foundation to where iNNAi is now.
