Formed by musicians who are no strangers to the local heavy metal scene, Intolerant's music is a mixture of traditional thrash metal combined with borrowed elements from death, stoner metal, hardcore and even classic rock n' roll. Starting off by doing the rounds in the local underground music circuit, the band has proved itself as a musically uncompromising unit that can do well on bigger stages and foreign shores, having played for numerous crowds in notably big events like the 2007 Fete del Musique, The 2008 UP Fair, stealing the show at the Summer Slam 8 in 2008 (where they opened for international metallers Darkest Hour in all pyrotechnic-explosion-glory), the 2008 Red Horse Beer Muziklaban Grand Finals (where they opened for international metal legends Sepultura) and opened for the PULP Presents: Shadows Fall Live In Manila gig in early 08. Truly, the hard work and the intense ethics behind this collective has paid off, earning them recognition even outside of the country, as the band plans to do a repeat performance in Hong Kong this 09, as well as the rest of Asia. Currently, the band is wrapping up a nationwide tour SONIC ATTACK with fellow Sonic Shape artists Nyctinasty and The Ambassadors, inlcuding dates in Cebu, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Bulacan, Laguna and Baguio.

Featuring Skychurch vocalist/bassist Russell dela Cruz (who now plays guitar, and still screams), Skychurch guitarist Joey Dizon on lead guitar and former Loss of Control members Mic Gallegos and Pepo Gohu (on bass and drums respectively…), Intolerant is dead-set in the process of making heavy metal even more creative, and open-minded– without abandoning the traditional elements that have made it both timeless, and uncompromising. Though Intolerant's inception seems almost recent, the band appeals as a group that has both the know-how and the balls to deliver with each punch.

The band's full-length debut , titled Reasons For Unrest, is a sonic barrage of 10 metal-as-hell tracks that feature the band's characteristically tight yet well-rounded sound that's both aggressive yet thought-provoking. Currently, the disc is available at all Music1 stores nationwide and other popular record bars, and is also available online through cdbaby.com and amazon.com.
