I'm a charismatic, social and funny young professional and a member of the Arlington Young Democrats, where I serve as their Party Representative, and the Arlington County Democratic Committee, where I lead their recruitment efforts. Politics is my passion, because it's more important than ever.

It's not my only passion though. On the lighter side, we like to party, and I manage the Young Dem softball team and play kickball with them too....I play a mean first base.

Some of my favorite activities are going out to the bars/clubs and dancing (80's to hip hop). I like lots of places, but have had some good times at Front Page, Chief Ike's, Rumors, Sign of the Whale, Clarendon Grill, Whitlow's, Dr. Dremo's and my local hang out, Carpool. I have also developed a good social network of friends and groups that allows me to get the inside scoop on various parties and fun events around the city, which are always more fun than hitting a random bar.

A little known fact is that since I drive a lot because I usually have multiple events to hit, I am well-regarded as the best parker in DC....according to my friends. It's a good skill to have....especially so you don't keep your date waiting. ;)

I also like the outdoors (camping, hiking, anything on the water), karaoke (my With or Without You brings the house down), pool, sports (football, softball, hoops, tennis, bowling, and mini-golf, if that's a sport), music/itunes, reading, traveling (I recently went to Brazil, Munich for Oktoberfest, Vegas, Montreal, SF, Mardi Gras and Boston lately), TV/movies, writing and almost anything different (I would love to explore the DC area more).

A couple interesting things about me....I organized my high school reunion in 2004 on the third attempt in 2 years for someone to lead it, which is probably my greatest achievement to date (we had a great DJ with dancing, everyone had a fun time). I've also produced and hosted public access talk/political satire shows.

I'm hoping to meet people who I have things in common with, whether friends of my friends, people interested in the same things or have similar personalities, backgrounds, etc.

In terms of dating....I'm looking for someone fun to hang out with, who can be sexy, funny, smart and cool all at the same time. I think that if a woman has those qualities, she becomes exponentially more attractive...because in the end, you need to feel that chemistry and looks are just the beginning. I like people who are willing to try new things and aren't afraid of something or someone who is different. I also like meeting people who have a full life, because otherwise relationships tend to get clingy and boring. It's more fun when each person has plenty to offer and their own interests.

Anyway, I have a good core of friends and feel like I'm meeting interesting people, but am always up for expanding my horizons. Feel free to say hello sometime.
