in South Madagascar, we thought we were
in for it when the pteradactyls came
out of nowhere and swooped down to
attack ourselves and the defenseless
aborigines. As the locals leapt into
the forest and scattered, James, I
remember clearly, stood his ground and
either fell asleep on his feet or
bravely stood his ground... Either way,
it spooked the birds that Time Forgot
to literally *stop* in mid-air and fly
away! Man, you should have seen the
carousing afterwards-- all the natives
were celebrating and James, being that
humble guy he is, just let on like he
didn't know what happened!
