About Me:
If you catch me after I've gotten off the phone with my grandparents, you might realize that I'm not from around here. Maybe that's why I dance in the subway while the rest of the metro-boulot-dodo world can't even muster the energy to roll their eyes; even if I'm not from here, I'm elated to know that I've come home. One wall in my room is the color of an eggplant, another an equally solid blue; they're to complement a painting by a girl with devil-horns for eyebrows. I have a weakness for them you know, pretty girls, that is; and particularly for making them dinner in my too-narrow kitchen. I compensate for my shyness with a practiced gregariousness; the truly kind forgive the act while enjoying the antics.

Who I Want to Meet:
People who have something to teach me. People who aren't looking to be a parent or to be parented. People who know how to have a good time. People who are working on getting their shit together. People who have gotten over possession. People with whom I can be still.

coffeeshop for several hours, talking
and drinking too much coffee and
smoking too many cigarettes, which was
perfectly in keeping with the languid
summer we spent together in humid
Annapolis. And then we spent a lot
more hours talking cozily in my house,
and when he made his departure, the
fact that it was storming outside
seemed of the upmost importance, and we
each said something about it and that,
too, seemed eternally important, though
I don't remember our words. This may
be because Jason is a man of emotion
and sentiment and thought--his words
are inconsequential once you've met the
well behind them.
could never admit you had. And more
often than not, he knows you don't know
he knows. An old man once told me, "Be
wary of tall men with long hands." I'm
not really sure what the old guy was
getting at, but it seemed fitting at
the time.
sadly, many of them are unrefined losers. I
used to be one of those kinds of people until
Jason introduced me to The Path of Awesome
Cool Things. Since that day, my life has been a
twisted journey of... um... a lot of really deep
things... without mayonaise.
signature phrase--much love. One of
the few people I can always depend on
for anything, he's infinitely loyal,
and infinitely gracious. A gentleman
to a T, he's also just a little left of
center. I love him dearly, always
have, always will. Plus, we're
supposed to get married when we're 30
or something... :) He's the kind of
friend that even when you haven't
talked forever, when you do it's always
just like before.
He's a man of refined tastes who's
intentionally spent his entire life
developing these refined tastes. I
imagine he was the only five year old
on earth to refer to something as
goche. He's kinda like Richard Corey,
only without the death.
fucking hell. Nothing suprises this
guy . . . except that one time when I
kissed him on New Year's Eve.
