I'm not much into movies, but I love to watch vampire movies. I find it funny to watch how humans see us with the fangs and the wooden stick.

I like to listen to any type of music as long as it's not too noisy

I don't watch much. I think it's a waste of time. There's lots of things to do instead of sitting in a couch and looking in a screen.

My name is Jasper Whitlock Hale, call me Jazz


I was born in 1843 and grew up in Houston, Texas. In 1861 when I was almost seventeen, I lied about my age, stating that I was 20, and joined the Confederate States Army to serve in the Civil War. I quickly rose through the ranks, and became the youngest Major in the Confederate Army. My father said it was charisma but i knew it was something else.




A vampire named Maria changed me when I was 20 years old. Maria was fighting a territorial war for claim on big cities in the south, such as Mexico City. She wanted a strong male vampire who could fight alongside her. When Maria found out about my peculiar ability to control the emotions of those around me, she found me even more useful.




After about a century of this, I grew weary of the lifestyle. An old vampire named Peter, persuaded me to escape from Maria. For a time, I wandered with Peter and his companion, Charlotte, but I soon came to feel remorse for my prey because I lived their emotions as I took their lives. As a result, I ran away and wandered on my own.




A few years later, i found Alice waiting for me in a half-empty diner in Philadelphia. She took my hand and said "you've kept me waiting for a long time." And i ducked my head like a Southern gentleman and said "I'm sorry ma'am.". She held out her hand, and I took it without stopping to make sense of what I was doing. For the first time in almost a century, I felt hope.




In my family I have the hardest time to adapt to our "vegetarian" lifestyle. I mostly avoid contact with humans, as I am more tempted than the others to drink from them. Going to school is a difficult task, but I do it for Alice

I would do anything for Alice, as she is my whole life. Even though I treat the other members of my family with respect, I am not bound to them the way I am to Alice.
