Looking for that tall dark and handsome hunk you've been waiting for only the whole of your life? Wrong profile. Abs, pecs, triceps, biceps? Move right along now. Gym bunny, circuit boy, clubber? Try the next profile. A super hot one night stand? Plenty of those kinds to be found on this site but not on this page. Someone to teach a newbie the ropes, a great first experience? Wrong again. Okay, so if those are all the things I am not, what am I? I think I am a good friend to begin with. A giver by nature I have been easy to exploit and take for granted. Perhaps this is because I failed to love myself enough in the past, something I have been working hard to overcome helped along by the lessons life has been repeatedly teaching me. But yes, a friend. Someone who is present and can be counted on as those who really know me can attest. I was going to say fun-loving but while I can enjoy myself and life, I think from the feedback of others it would probably be best for me to acknowledge that I am probably seen as serious through the eyes of others. Most important to me at least, at this time I have come to be at peace with my life and the choices I have made. I believe I am an interesting person to know but that is how I see myself. What remains to be seen is how you see me through your own eyes and experiences of me.

An interesting question. What DO I find important? I think sincerity is important. Sincerity of intent. Sincerity of feelings. Trust? Yes, trust is important and I have learned that forgiveness is important too - perhaps I have not been forgiving enough. Or have I been too forgiving too often closing a blind eye when I should not? I am not sure. But sincerity, yes, sincerity. Be a genuine, sincere person. Beyond that any relationship from platonic to intimate is a journey of discovery. And as with any journey there are bound to be smooth passages and rocky ones. There are bound to be predictable situations and unexpected surprises. Who would I like to have along on a long journey? On any length of journey for that matter? I suppose I would like a fellow traveler who recognises that there will be times each will need to make compromises so that both travelers get the most out of journeying together.
