a weekend designer special feature! by jeremy chua aka jemapela

"Beauty in strength, strength in beauty"

"....Jeanine, a model I haven't known enough, for her talent in making beautiful costume accessories. Check her creations at: http://www.theweekenddesigner.blogspot.com"

"...As they say, beauty is only skin-deep. Beauty, in this sense, means external beauty, such as a pretty face. Sadly, as we all know too well, a pretty face will fade away in time with age. Inner beauty, the beauty that comes from within a person's exterior, is more lasting. This inner beauty, often very difficult to define and determine, usually encompasses character and personality.
Moving on to talents, most girls in the good old days learn skills which are appropriate for them, such as cooking and sewing. (I'm not being chauvinistic. I'm only saying that it happened, and it still does today.) Girls from wealthier and educated families, or perhaps in better circumstances, may even learn how to sing, dance, play music and games. I wouldn't consider these talents to be out-of-date in today's world although there are other talents, such as sport, which are considered more contemporary.

Quite surely, having talents make a person more interesting and attractive, and a positive role model.."

one of a kind pieces, customisable styles.

finally, something you can call your own!
