the JG Poker tour is a series of no-limit texas holdem games played several times a week in Makati by a mix of 50 or odd players, ranging from beginners to semi-seasoned veterans to people who keep putting in their chips just to see the flop no matter what.

We mostly play one time buy-in, winner take all, everybody starts with the same number of chips, tournament style play. Stakes are from 20pesos to 500pesos, depending on the alcohol intake at any given night.

Those interested in learning texas hold-em, we also offer tutorials for free before we can actually play, then only we can get to steal your money :)

SUMMER SERIES

WHAT:
It's the JGPT Summer Series! A series of five weekly poker tournaments in which the TOP 10 finishers (1st and 2nd placers) will compete in a freeroll championship tournament for the accumulated progressive pot (up to 10K!), the championship trophy, and most importantly, for the glory!

A new and improved tournament structure will be in effect for the new series. Weekly tournament winners will also receive a Golden Chip with their name engraved for bragging rights!

WHEN:
1st game- April 21, Fri- finisihed (valero)
2nd game-April 26, Wed- finished (valero)
3rd game-May 10, Wed- finsihed (at thx)
4th game-May 17, Wed- (at BNJ, pasig)
5th game-may 24, wed- Venue TBA

Championship Game:
May 31. (with kick-off party for the next series!)
