Who I Want to Meet:
Some of these people are dead, but so what...
Julie Christie. My great-great-grandfather. Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight, so I could school them on what really goes down at the Plaza when you're six and running amok (no turtles in my experience). Alex Zanardi. Arsene Wenger. Samuel Johnson and Benjamin Franklin, during the one time they were in the same room together, to see the sparks fly. Dubya, so I could bitch-slap him, then put him in a headlock and give him The Mother of All Noogies (followed by a wedgie of the atomic (nucular?) variety, of course). Girls who make me nervous - always a good sign, but they are few and far between.

never seen him look bad, honest. He
sure does have allot of nice suits and
who can resist a man in a suit?
big wooden spoon and who to use it on...
love,
project buttercup
fellah I wanna tell you about. fellah
by the name of Biggy Bixler. at least
that's the handle his lovin' groupies
gave him. He didn't have much use for
it though. This Bixler -- he called
himself The Bowles. Now, "Bowles" --
that's a name nobody would self-apply
where I come from. But then there's a
lot about The Bowles that didn't make a
whole lot of sense. And a lot about
where he came from, too -- The Woodsy
Knolls. And I only mention him now
because sometimes there's a man -- and
I wouldn't say a hero, 'cause what's a
hero? -- but sometimes there's a man,
and, well, he's the man for his
particular time and place. He fits
right in there. And that's The Bowles
from Connecticut. And even if he was a
lazy man, and The Bowles was most
certainly that. Quite possibly the
laziest in all New England. But
sometimes....sometimes there's a man.
sometimes....there's a man. Sometimes
there's a man.....
one day I went into uncommon
ground and he gave me my coffee for
free. All I had on me was a $20 bill,
and I wasn't about to put that in his
tip jar. I didn't go back for a long time
cuz I felt like a jerk for not tipping.
Now I go in, and sometimes I get a
discount, and sometimes he puts
whipped cream on my hot chocalate
and it's all good. I love whipped
cream. And I love seeing John at
TWR. Maybe someday we'll have a
conversation like people do
sometimes....
