About Me:
"Married businessman by day, child by night."
That's what a friend's girlfriend once called me,
and it's pretty darn apt. By day I am Johnny O'Neal,
Communication Consultant (whatever that is), happily
married to the beautiful and talented Beverly Cheng (now O'Neal) ...and living a respectably mature life. Then I come
home at night and read comics, play video games and eat
second helpings of dessert.
I consider myself a nice, empathetic guy who's always
interested in hearing about other people's relationships. I
am, and have almost always been, a very happy and self-
assured person. However, my confidence in myself sometimes
strays into the realm of arrogance. In spite of my strong
personality, I invariably pick up personality traits from
the people I spend time with. That means I tend to enjoy
spending time with people who like themselves, and slowly
start to agree with people who don't. I'm a nice Midwestern
boy, so please don't take advantage of my innocence.

Who I Want to Meet:
Anyone living in (or passing through) New York City who
wants to party or pub-crawl. If you like any of the bands
listed above, I'm always up for concerts. Normally I would say I'd never in a million years expect to meet someone through Friendster, but sadly enough, some of my best friends are people I've met because of the Internet.

Testimonials and Comments for Johnny
company you really don't want to leave.
And he has really cool friends. If anyone
calls them geeks again, I will beat them
up. The term is "nerd," OK? Actually
Johnny and team are adorably nerdy,
and I am never bored in their presence. I
myself am a card carrying member of
the International Association of Global
Nerds, so I am allowed to say that.
He's the greatest guy.
Did I get that right?
Johnny O'Neal, the only person I know
to have his own personal theme song.
Johnny's married now, so, ladies, I
know you wanted some hot Johnny love
action, but it just isn't gonna happen, not
anymore. Not except for one very
special, lucky lady.
I was lucky enough to attend Johnny's
bachelor party, where he proceeded to
do coke off of a stripper's ass. I swear.
Okay, I kid. There were belly dancers
though. I had camera phone pics but
they didn't turn out well.
Yeah, anyway. Johnny rocks. He was
like my only friend for a while in high-
school. I guess we were what you might
call "computer dorks" for a while there.
Yeah, ladies, you love dorks, just admit
it.
outdated now. Well, what else can I
say? I did marry him, that counts for
something, right? ;) Oh, and Johnny is a
terrific puppy parent. If a little
overprotective (though I'm sure Atari
appreciates it).
silly comedy show of mine a few years
ago. not only did he approach an
unglamorous, complicated job with
infectious enthusiasm - for which i
never properly thanked him - he has a
stunningly sexy voice and, i'm told,
is hung like a wild boar.
the most open, willing-to-talk
(straight) guy I've ever met. Over the
last five years, Johnny has been a
great partner in crime, silliness,
eating and shopping. Despite the fact
that I'm still miffed at his dislike of
my tapestry pants from Express, a
better fiance could not be found
elsewhere (certainly not in my current
posse of fiances).
but I guess I was wrong. Johnny has
managed to remain elusively present on the
fringe of my life for some time. As a
roommate he sometimes did his dishes and
was willing to wear earplugs. He often
contributed esoteric explorations of
whatever topical issue presented itself. All
of this, and his openness, honesty, and
whimsical ability to adapt and improvise as
he goes along, make Johnny someone
worth knowing. Besides, who else do I know
who likes comic books and -- whatever it is
he does at his job...?
