We are the Beyond band , I am Ka Kui


Music has many categories, it has many characteristics, many colors, it has many different feelings, different cultures in there, music is an art


Music is not only for entertainment, it is in every part of life, regardless how busy a person is, how much a person cares about earning money, one cannot live without music


Most of our songs are not for entertainment, it's for people to taste/digest/admire


This is the voice from my heart, at this moment I have feelings for this thing, I will sing it loudly to all of you


I feel that everything must be done with heart, to touch others must first touched one self


I am a musician, I am a musician, I will respect music


Without music, I would die, I really would die,impossible to live without it


When I am carrying my guitar I always feel that I am carrying a treasurable sword


When you are asking for something from the society, the first thing you should do is ask yourself what you have given to the society, I have given music


When I am complaining about something that I am not happy about, I will try to change it, but if I just keep complaining and don't try to do anything about it, then that's just only complaining.


We won't care how other people look at us, I don't consider myself as rebellious, I feel I am very normal


It feels very rough to have to put too much efford into doing one thing deliberately, you will become ungrateful


I do not wish that we the Chinese people forever stay at remembering those bright glorious days, those bright glorious days have already over, we have to build our own glroy days for the future, we have to make our future to become even better

I think my biggest dream is for Beyond to be able to go on world tours, we can tell our friends around the world that Hong Kong also has our own music, HK band rocks


We can be so brave to go so far, it's all because we have you all as a great group of fans


In our future days there will be many big era type of changes, we will be very optimistic to face these changes in the future


I believe there must be some friends here who have been supporting us since 1983, not many, but there should be some, I want to thank you all again


Regardless how far we have gone, at the end we will still be back here
