About Me:
I'm a guy who likes people and is interested in learning and doing things. I think Descartes was wrong when he said "Je pense, donc je suis" because I think it should really be "J'apprend, donc je suis" because at every point in spacetime through which we pass, we're learning. And by learning I mean taking in stimulus/information, processing it, and making decisions based upon it. I'm also interested in languages. For example, I am trying to learn Spanish. Quiero apprendar hablar Espanol porque quero hablar con the Mexican guys behind the line at the taquerias around San Francisco. I would consider myself a born-again secular humanist. (Insert rolled-eyes here) I suppose those words should be capitalized, but I don't want to hit backspace...I am theoretically open minded although sometimes my redneck past catches up with me, but that's to be expected and anyone who argues that point is probably in some sort of denile.

Who I Want to Meet:
Anyone who's capable of having intelligent conversations about dumb things. (Or, dumb conversations about intelligent things) A good example of this would be, perhaps, in incessantly trying to understand the physics of vectors, force and friction, neuro-physical interactions as they interact with the endocrine system, the phenominon of celebrity and how it's affects the nation-state, and of course the nature of "home-field advantage." All while drinking an MGD, playing pool, and checking out that girl's huge rack in line for the bathroom.

Testimonials and Comments for Kevin
studying abroad?
A: He had to leave his brother's behind.
long-sleeve T-shirt before you go to San
Francisco I'm going to rip off your head
and shit down your fucking neck! Oh,
and congratulations on ACT--You're
going to be huge!
earth. I love Kevin b/c he's super fun to
be around & b/c h's a really amazing
actor and very genuine person. Kevin
puts people at ease, and makes great
jokes, like wadge and pwadge. Once he
didn't like what I was saying so he
pretended he was a monkey eating bugs
out of my hair. He likes to walk around,
throw snowballs, and talk on his phone
while riding his bike. I mean, he's just
that busy. Kevin usually has about 5
jobs and is a master of all trades: acting,
drink mixing & renting apts. He
sometimes does yoga. Kevin knew me
when I got suspended from the Morning
Show for skipping school that day with
everybody and when I sang Abba on my
sweet sixteen. Which he explained to
me was "not sweet on a technicality".
Our innocent young minds were shocked
at the same moment by the true
meaning of chocolate. He is not flighty or
flaky. (Only sometimes, like when he left
my door open for a whole weekend.)
I must admit I really had a laugh as I
read what you wrote on how we met lol !!
Now I think I need to give my version of it
I was shopping at the local monoprix
grocery store, and I remember feeling
sorry for that poor shop keeper at the
sight of her embarassed face, as she
obviously couldnt understand a word of
what Kev was saying I could
(surprising - yes- I know !!), so I only
helped her out
And actually although generally
speaking I really am sorry that most
French people are so hopeless with
foreign languages, I am just really happy
this girl was !!
What I like about Kevin is that although
we cant seem to meet more than once
every 3 or 4 years (Ill blame geography
unfairness for it) it still feels like weve
seen each other only a couple of weeks
ago !!
For some reason he always reminds me
of the leader of the class in Dead Poet
Society Dont ask why I cant
explain it but Im convinced hed be
perfect in that role if they ever decided to
shoot it again (maybe j
you as the chief spokesperson for the
Christian Right...congrats. Gays like
myself will live much more comfortably
knowing that your misguided education
in genetics will be determining our fate
over the next 4 years. You're such a
disease Kevin, a genetic disease!
Sorry, I just wanted to have the last word.
Fuck you, they rock, and Chrissy Hynde
could probably beat you in thumb
wrestling, you malignant pussy. Don't
forget to be at my place tomorrow by
8:50, we're tapping the keg promptly at
9. Drinky drinky!
