I'm not sure what I really want to do at this point of my life.
Many of my friends have settled down, while I still don't have a family to call my own. No, I don't think marriage is a solution, but it sure would feel nice to have an anchor and some sense of direction in life.
I don't have any savings or property to speak of. I haven't established the "right" networks to advance my so-called career. I can't claim to having done something truly worthy for our society either. All these standards by which societal norms judge success scare me, whether I accept them or not. I don't necessarily look at myself as a failure, but as I look back, I know I could have done many things better or differently. Well, as they say, hindsight is always 20/20.
