LAND AREA
The Municipality of Cabatuan occupies a total land area of 8,077 hectares. It has thee following land uses: residential (232.21 has), agricultural (6,819.19 has), commercial (8.53 has), industrial (13.94), hospital (0.102 has), religious (2.87 has), educational (14.90 has), government (21.62) and other uses (963.64 has).
CLIMATOLOGICAL CONDITIONS
The Municipality of Cabatuan belongs to Type III Climate. Its rainfall starts from July and continues through December, with the moth of October and November as the peak of the rainy season. The hottest temperature is recorded during the month of May at 30.80 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature is recorded inn February at 15.6 degrees Celsius.
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
The Municipality of Cabatuan is a 4th class municipality in the Province of Isabela. It is bounded on the north by the Municipality of Aurorora, on the east by the Municipality of Luna, by the Municipality of San Mateo on the west and the City of Cauayan on the south. Cabatuan is approximately 46.2 kilometers from Ilagan, the capital town of the province of Isabela.
RESOURCES
As for mineral resources, the municipality has 31 hectares of quarry which is good source of sand and gravel. This is located along the banks of the Magat River specifically in Barangays Rangay, Del Pilar and Saranay. For the water sources and irrigation, the municipality has various rivers and creeks, to wit: Magat River, and the creeks of Pacarcar, Ubbog, Marabulig, Balaobao, Macanao, and Gadddanan.
