About Me:
Started out as high school friends during their early years at La Consolacion College - Tanauan, Robert Gonzales (vocals), Rambert Balbuena (bass) and John Alvin Paz (drums) tried to make music like they were just having fun. Many changes in line-up occurred in the band before a fixed line-up was formed adding Christian Pascual and Josh Miraflor both on guitars. The band which is a fusion of various influences ranging from metal to hardcore bands like: Deftones, Earth Crisis, Hatebreed, Lamb of God, Mudvayne, Pantera, Sepultura, Soulfly and the likes had no permanent name before. Then, Robert, the acting leader of the band, suggested the name "Track Machine which later evolved into simpler Tagalog term "Makina with the help of a close friend Jaye Mar Tapia (guitarist of N.O.T.A., Bagua and Gayuma). The band was named with such for the style of music they create seemed to be a machine that exudes a melodic noise stressed basically by distorted reverberation.
