Diwa is a composer, violinist, hegalong player, visual artist, web designer and all-around musician. He graduated as valedictorian of Philippine High School for the Arts major in Visual arts, batch 1997. He finished Bachelor of Music in Composition at the University of the Philippines, College of Music.

He is currently active as a founding member of the band, Makiling (formerly Makiling Ensemble) as the violinist, hegalong player and back-up vocalist. He also worked in the past as a gamemaster for Netgames Philippines (now merged with Level Up Games) who publishes online games such as Khan Online and Pangya. He also became the College of Music Student Council Chairman back in his college days.

In his freetime, Diwa is a passionate gamer with a leaning towards RPGs. He also leads a guild called Invictus at Philippine Ragnarok Online, Baldur Server.
