About Me:
Matthue is a writer and performance poet who follows his wife around the world. They just moved to Brooklyn, and now they are officially hard core.
As a performance poet, he's toured all over the place and collaborated with other poets and bands.
His new book, Candy in Action, just came out. You can get the soundtrack free at www.candyinaction.com. He also wrote Never Mind the Goldbergs, a novel about a punk-rock Orthodox girl who moves to LA for the summer to star on a TV sitcom, and Yom Kippur a Go-Go, a memoir about becoming observant and moving to San Francisco and learning how to dance. And he is not very good at speaking in the third person.

print it out for my buddy, Saadya. The
next day, I see Beni walking down the
street with two guys. One is Haggai,
who is a doll. The other is Matthue. I
didn't recognize him or anything...but
we got to talking about our
respective "shows" and realized that he
was the same dude. He invited me over
for shabbat sushi. I CARRIED a whole
wheat challah with eggs in it to his
vegan household. Too much information?
yeah. But that's how it happened.

Anyhoo, next day, I get my copy of "j."

Area. Matthue is on the cover.
This guy is honest, funny, silly, and
has a heart of gold. He even asked
Haggai to invite me over for shabbos
while he was off playing a gig in NYC.
And he just met me!!! I'm telling you.
You wanna know this guy. He rocks.
